It depends on the man...usually the more macho men want men's shampoo like Redken Cleanse because it smells like cologne. Although, I was engaged to a tough, tattooed mexican who washed his hair with Suave Strawberries N Cream...lol that was funny...

I don't think it is a general fact. It is a personal choice. Of course other men would prefer women shampoo and others prefer men shampoo. Really if men prefer women shampoo shampoo producers would be in a rush to make a change to fit that preference!!

Men prefer whatever shampoo is in reach. I think secretly though, they enjoy the smells and the lather of women shampoo.

My husband uses normal shampoo. I didn't know that there is "men shampoo." He usually uses herbal essences or pantene.

It doesn't matter, as long as it gets the hair clean! Heck I've even used dish soap to shampoo my hair!
