an inflattable raft, oars, a compass, and a transistor radio...but most likely now-a-days I would replace the inflattable raft with a labtop computer, the oars with packs of batteries, a transistor radio with a handheld GPS system, and the transistor radio with an portable satellite uplink kit!

if you already had food family and drink then you wouldnt really be stranded, id be in heaven, not having to deal with society etc..
but any who.. id bring a doctor fully equipped with everyhting youd ever need, zillions of condoms, and a tv to plug into the hatch i would find whilst on one of my intriguing walksaround the island -oh and by the way the condoms are for sayid

it depends, is it a civilized island or a very remote one?
remote island:assuming you have a basic knowledge of survival skill and in a friendly environment (no cannibalism allowed)-
hunting knife, heavy blanket, cooking pot and antibiotic medication.
civilized island: providing you have your credit card, money and a luggage complete with wardrove for the occasion-
laptop, phone, medication and float
