I'm a pretty curvey girl, so alot of my weight is in my "love handles". I gained a few pounds the past couple of months, and now I'm going to Florida in 2 weeks and I want to lose ATLEAST 5 lbs and look good for the beach! I'm at 122 right now and I want to go down to 115. I'm TERRIBLE at dieting and exercising but if someone can give me an awesome diet to stick to and actually work in 2 weeks, that would be great. Any help? Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the help! When I was in school, I never ate, my stomach was always growling. I was probably 5'4" and 110.. I was used to that for a long time until I started (slowly) eating more, etc. So I'm afraid if I don't start to do something, I'll be really unhappy and start to gain more weight. I may be at a "healthy" weight now but my lifestyle sure isn't.

I don't eat seafood and much meat.. but I'll defintally experiment with some of the ideas the next couple of weeks.

By the way, we're in the dieting catagory here, not "english class".

well since you don't really wana exercise, but all the sugar. no candy, no bread, no late night runs to the fridge.

Eat salads, fruits and Luna Bars.

Eat lots of Fish, and not too much fried stuff since the oils and stuff are fatning.

NO JUNK FOOD.

Drink lots of water.

and try this: SMALL meals every like 3-4 hours a day, stopping at like 8 pm. Small meaning like :

10 am: cereal with soy milk (reg milk is fatning too)

1pm - some tuna, (or any kind of fish), a side of fruit.

3-4 pm - salad.

7-8 pm - yogurt


Ya this is like cutting everything out, but you need this fast and this will help you.

But also, take walks outside. If you cant like walk or jog for hours and hours, walk intsead of taking the bus here or there, do some sit-ups. start with like 30 the first day and then move 5-10 more each day.

sitting on your butt won't help!

I'm 5'8 and I'm doing everything I told you, and I go to the gym and I lost 4 pounds in a week. :)

You shouldn't. From what I hear it's unhealthy to lose more than like 2 or 3 pounds a week. But don't quote me on that. What I do know is that losing too much weight to fast can cause gall bladder or kidney stones i just can't remember which. That is true though I know I sound unsure but it is.

ps i'm about your height and I can tell you that 122 pounds probably doesn't look as bad as you think it does. I wish i was 122. Also don't just stop eating- your metabolism will plummet because your body thinks your starving and goes into conservation mode. It's actually better to eat less more often- it keeps your metabolism going.

Excellent activity: -sit down u.S.A.Crutches [do like 20 a day for how long you have] -bicycle [either use one or do the lay back way where you lift one of your knees to your face and opposite elbow touching knee repeat with other and so on] -consume correct [don't eat majorly less. That's bad] -take a stroll round your whole nearby [20-30 minutes a day can work. You can jog, no need to run] additionally, that you would be able to simply stroll after your commonplace dinner. This can be a commonplace good figure out. No need to go all sppecial and stuff =] via Lily =D

ok ummm 5lbs is possible but u need to diet or work out or both.
some ideas-
breakfast -granola, healthy cereal, nothing, 2 pieces whole wheat bread or 2 pancakes with i cant believe its not butter. 2 yogurts

add ons.Egg whites,fruits

drinks- Any kind of juice, if u must have milk have fat free

lunch- fish sandwich, chicken salad light dressing or no dressing thats big, fruits

dinner- fish, small amount of any meat, salad, fruits again, anything that isnt bread material like carbs

U have carbs in the morning because u burn them off and at night u do definatly dont have them because they turn into fat over night.

These are some ideas hope this helps, im well educated in health. lol

How about not eating when you're not hungry? Some people stick to daily schedule, a meal tree times a day, when they actually don't need that much food. I eat only when I'm hungry enough to defeat my laziness and cook something up, which usually happens once a day, but I have plenty of energy.

a TEMPORARY fix is the cabbage soup diet.... but once you start eating normal... you'll pick up some of the lbs back.

your best bet is to exercise. this may sound insane, but if you could jog/run at least 5 days a wk...for at least 60 mins each day, you'll see a MINOR difference in 2 wks! just remember, when you engage in any exercise program on a REGULAR basis, it usually takes 6 wks before you see results.

drink plenty of water

I dont use the pills but I am a physical fitness leader and for the people that have to loose a few pounds but will get it back later, use hydroxy cut (for food consumption and energy) and "just before bed" that keeps your metabolism high when you sleep. But you do need to run... Running is the best thing to loose total weight

hey, i am the one guy who is 6' 3'' 205lbs and i want to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks and i am also going to florida!!! haha wow! i am going on the 18th to destin florida to pick up my buddy from his air force base. I haven't seen my best friend in 6 months! See ya there!! haha

You are at a near perfect weight for your height. I agree with billie, you need tone. The fastest way there is some bodybuilding workout (squats with weights). Also spinning classes are great for rear-end.
