i m under graduate curently in a job with another name.Am I able to change my name if yes, how?

Change of name is a special civil proceedings and you have to file it in court. There is a publication for the change of your name and if there are no objections, the state will prosecute your case and if found to be meritorious, you can now have the name you want as decided by the court.

You can change your name, but you have to go to court. Go down to the court house, go to the information center and ask for forms for it. Then you will have to go to court and pay certain fees. If you are over 18 there should not be problem, but you should do soon if you want your new name on your diploma. The trickier parts will be changing your license and social security.

You may change your name by getting a lawyer to do it. This called DEED POLL. Once this done and you may change all official documents and etc
