We were told by Bush and Co. that invading Iraq and overthrowing Saddam would bring peace to the Mid East and yet, 3 and half years later, it seems just as violent as ever. So tell me republicans, you spreaders of peace and democracy, why does the Middle East not seem any better, even though we did what Bush said we had to do in order to finally bring peace to the region? Maybe I am not seeing something? How do things look from your side because over here, I’m seeing no improvements and maybe even a more violent Mid East than it has been for awhile here.

23.42/42.94 and 5.2/4.256 How?

In most classes like Physics/Calculus you'll just use a calculator if you need to compute these, so I forgot how to do them by hand. 23.42 is smaller than 42.94, and they're both decimals, this makes it tricky for me.

My last question is how would I approximate something like cos(2) or ln(3) without using a calculator?

My cat will always sit next to me, no matter what room I go in, he follows, and just wants to be near me. He eats dry food, so he's not waiting for me to feed him. There are 3 other cats in the house, and they all get along, so he's not lonely...I know he's comfortable, he lies on his back for most of the day :) There are also two other people in the house, it's not as though he is craving the attention. I'm just curious, why only me? He doesn't want to sit with his siblings, or the other people in the house. If I go to the kitchen to grab something, he stays with me till I leave, then follows me back into the other room. The only thing he doesn't do is sleep with me, thought he "tucks" me in everynight. He'll come in and sit with me while I fall asleep. It's very cute, but I just can't understand the "obsession" with me :)
