Motorola is highest rated thus equaling the best phone (and they are) nokia is hard to wokr with has a bad interface and is too expensive. Cingular is a service provider not a cell phone (sorry but for saying that makes me think you are really really really dumb) Razr and Slvr are both Motorola (also makes me think you even more stupid because you have the same thing 3 times in 1 question) sorry but you should just research it on the internet and see which one you like most.

The best phone and provider is one that works best for you.

Lower end phones or entry level phones as some like to call them are not always your best option.

Motorola phones tend to be rated by consumers as best for signal strength and call quality.

What you need to do is look at what you are planning to do with the phone other than just using it as a phone. If you want to text message, pix message, video clips, mobile web, high speed internet access, are just a few things to think about. If you want just a good quality phone first you need to find a provider that has good service where you plan on using the phone the MOST. Once you find a provider in your area then you need to look at the phones they carry and look at reviews of consumers of that device. Be very careful when reading reviews though to the fact some people might have had the device for 1 day and hate it because it's not what they expected. Look more at reviews of people that are contributing information as far as the quality of the device, pro's and con's of the device.

I personally use a Motorola E815 through Verizon Wireless an excellent device for my needs and excellent signal strength. Very very few dropped calls (remember this is still a radio signal so it is bound to happen). Verizon has also stated it's network intentions as they will ALWAYS have the best network. They pay a 3rd party for information from everything from signal strength to call quality to dropped call ratios in markets all over the USA. Other carriers do this as well, but they are still way behind the curve as Verizon is averaging putting $5 billion back into their network each year. They are constantly testing their systems internally as well doing drive tests and going to customer's homes to see signal quality when complaints arise. They are set on having the best network and keeping it that way so don't let the commercials fool you. Yes you will pay slightly more for the service plans, but you need to look at what you get for that price. "The most reliable network"

Cingular is on a kick about more bars in more places along with their dropped call ratio. What they don't tell you is they are pulling that information from SELECT markets not their whole network. Also what they don't tell you is their blocked call ratio or in other words how many calls actually make it through to the system to be placed. If you can't place a call you're not going to drop it that's for sure.

The two I listed are the top 2 providers as far as coverage area and customer base size. Please make sure to do your research on the best provider in your area. An unhappy customer isn't needed and if you do your homework you won't be unhappy.
