Our country has done some awful things. It has left poor people to rot in a hurricane. This country outsources American jobs to save a buck. There is a large population of people who dont have health care, but in Canada they have free healthcare. I just watched Oprahs series about schools in crisis and how awful some schoos have become. When we evacuated Americans out of Lebanon we had people signing promissary notes to pay back the ticket home when other countries evacuated their citizens no questions asked. We are a nation get fatter, dumber, greedier and more dangerous. We are the biggest producers of pollution, we are the largest drug consuming nation in the world. Democrats and Republicans have not solved any of these problems. So how can you be proud of this country? One story in particular that has really pissed me off was the HBO special on a animal humane rescue operation that showed how awful people treat dogs. It was sick! This Priest killed and tortured innocent animals.

I own my own home. I have a mortgage that I paid before I even met my husband and now that we're married, I want to add him to it. I've already added him to the deed, but I figure if he's paying half the mortgage with me now, he should get the credit for it on his credit report, too, since it's a nice, big, positive. I know if you add someone as an authorized user on a credit card account, it'll report on both credit reports, but is there a way to do this with a mortgage?

ummmmm ok i come from a school that has really Ugly uniforms and it's all plain & boring! my mom insisted that i stay so i've no choice.. i treasure my home. i'm thinking of cutting my skirt with a pair of scissors to a mini but i dont wanna damage it like.. if i keep cutting and cutting it'll be gone in no time lol. how do i do it?? does using a ruler help..? its my first time doing this

What makes it hard is that in our click there are four of us. 2 girls & 2 guys. 1 guy "touched" another guy in an uncomfortable way and so now one girl is mad b/c he is basically admitting that he DID used to date guys. My thing is that sin is sin and since he repented there should be grace. What advice can I give my (girl) friend who is having a hard time accepting our (guy) friend's past b/c of his "touching" mistake?

i went ther and just got back and it was so beautiful. Everyone has such a distorted view of it even though they've never been. I mean under the carribean i don't see Haiti but I see the Dominican Republic, and if you take a carribean cruise, when it gets to Haiti, they don't say Haiti(Labadee), they say "Hispaniola", which no longer even exists. When you hear news about Haiti, you hear it's dangerous and blah blah blah. Everywhere has at least one spot that dangerous. In Haiti there's just one small town that's dangerous. That's it. One spot. I had the best vacation of my life in Haiti, but why does everyone hate the country and its people?
