What makes it hard is that in our click there are four of us. 2 girls & 2 guys. 1 guy "touched" another guy in an uncomfortable way and so now one girl is mad b/c he is basically admitting that he DID used to date guys. My thing is that sin is sin and since he repented there should be grace. What advice can I give my (girl) friend who is having a hard time accepting our (guy) friend's past b/c of his "touching" mistake?

Be very aware that while you should forgive him, that he obviously has not gotten past his lust problem or he wouldn't be touching people inappropriately. Is he in any kind of counseling?

This is what I would say to counsel her. God has already forgiven her for the multitude of sins that she has committed then how can she not forgive someone else? It is ungodly not to forgive one another. If he is penitent then he should be shown grace and mercy. It is a miracle of God that he is out of that lifestyle in the first place.

If you speak with her and she will not change her heart then you will need to take another Christian with you and discuss the matter. If that does not work then you bring third who needs to be a spiritual authortarian i.e. pastor. If that does not change things then you will need to break fellowship with her as a point of spiritual discipline.

Joh 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

1Jo 4:20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Rom 14:10 But you, why do you criticize your brother? Or you, why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

Lift him up, don't slam him down.

Tell her to get over it. Who cares as long as he is doing what he views as the right thing now? This is how I see it.....If you TRULY believe that what you are doing is the rRight thing I mean no doubts this is the ight path and the right choice and you see nothing bad that can come from it IE: no people hurt then there is nothing wrong.

Who you should really worry about is your male friend for he is denying who he really is and that is not healthy.
