Anyone who did a degree in English Lit should have thought about it four years before he signed up for his degree.

I majored in English and minored in Philosophy, so I am (quite naturally) unemployed. If you're a "real" English major (not journalism or communications), your "real world" options will be 1)clerical work, or 2) Starbucks barista. If neither of these are appealing to you, do what your professors did and remain in the safe harbor of academe forever. You really have nothing practical to offer the world, anyway.

They don't, you see there are degrees you get that are completely useless unless you're teaching it or something. Those include: English, music, and mathematics to name a few. Business is where it's at!
