I am 42, my boyfriend is 52. I have been divorced twice, him once.
Both of my marriages failed due to adultery on my husband's part.
It's funny, but both times I was told "You have to meet her!" "You guys would make great friends!" or "She's just a friend", "You have nothing to worry about.
Well, both times I tried, and both times I was betrayed. Now I am what you call "gun-shy".
I have been with Kevin for 5 years, We have been very happy and he has never ever given me a reason to distrust him.
He is a musican/singer as a hobby, he did do it for a living at one point, but not anymore. I tried to sing with him, buy God did not bless me with a singing voice, so he has been doing it on his own.

He met a female singer, same age as him, single, with a beautiful singing voice. I haven't met her yet, but I am afraid to.
and now I am hearing it all over again, "you have nothing to worry about..etc.. and I can't bring myself to accept this, but I can't help it.
Help!

They say that UC's are a lot better than Cal States, so does that mean that I should definitely choose UC over Cal State? Is it also true that if I attend Cal State, I will most likely have to take out smaller loans?

I'm going to my favorite deli today, and I want to get the sandwich that'll be healthier for me-- because I'm trying to lose weight. I'm going to make this my one "big" meal of the day.

Sandwich #1= A LOT of roast beef on a hard roll with two slices of American cheese.

Sandwich #2= Hot honey ham on grilled rye bread, with melted American cheese and honey mustard dressing.

I would assume that Sandwich #2 would be worse, but isn't rye bread healthy? Doesn't honey ham contain less fat and stuff than roast beef does? Besides, don't hard rolls have a lot of calories in them?

If you were trying to lose weight, which sandwich would you get? And please don't say "neither", but if there are any modifications that you can make to make the sandwich healthier, I'd be interested in hearing them.

work and take advantage of the US system. Get welfare, foodstamps and free medical? Why don't they emphasize all their anger towards those employers? And if you answer that there is no work because it is taken by illegals, then you must not really want to work and sit back and take in the 'free' living the government is providing!
