If 'best dressed' refers to the population, then the France or maybe the Italians. Otherwise, the best 'dressed country' I think is Canada ~ great swathes of it untouched and dressed totally naturally.

Just my opinion but ... having travelled extensively there is nothing better than sitting at an outdoor cafe in Rome or any other Italian city for that matter and 'people watching' ... they really know how to dress, which always appears effortless and understated but they seem to have a certain panache and great style.

Italians are the smartest dressed and so classy! They all seem so tall and slim too. Maybe theres a lot to be said for olive oil and pasta!

I think it has to be Italians. They are well dressed and dress sexily and stylish, where as the French are classic, but very cold, if you know what i mean.
