My 7 year old daughter is exceptionally smart. She took a test for the Advanced Learning classes. She scored higher than average on 4 out of 6 areas. The other two areas are not yet taught in her grade. She missed getting in the class by only 13 ponts on her IQ test and this may be due to nervousness. I was just wondering what the average IQ for her age is. She can read at a Jr. High level, do math-in her head- that's way ahead of her grade, write songs with actual tunes, draw exceptionally well, write stories with large words that only adults should be able to understand and solve logic games and projects. I was wondering if her IQ score might be wrong. The school she goes to pays more attention to who's who than individual skills and I need to know if she is being discrimanated against because of social status. If she is I plan on doing something about it.

Do you believe that some, possibly many people call themselves Christian just to feel accepted.
Could this be the reason that so many Christians do get bashed on this site and in society?

More dead bodies of women and children this morning in Lebanon. In the real world you wouldn't maintain a friendship with a violent murderer, so why is the USA and Britain supporting Israel.

Why is it that women say feet are nasty, yet adorn and show their feet at any given notice at these concerts? I was at one tonight and I never seen so many barefeet and pink and red toenails at one time in my entire life. Do you feel like you have to doll yourself up or something? BTW, I'm not complaining. A whole lot of these women looked hot.

I see these trms used, but they often seem interchangable and I want to know if I'm missing some subtlety. Are there times when one word would be appropriate but not the others?

To make this easier on you, here are (American Heritage) dictionary definitions:

au·ral: Of, relating to, or perceived by the ear.
au·di·to·ry: Of or relating to hearing, the organs of hearing, or the sense of hearing.
a·cous·tic: Of or relating to sound, the sense of hearing, or the science of sound.
son·ic: Of or relating to audible sound.

In context: "aural style sheet", "acoustic control", "visual and auditory information", "sonic energy".

I thought that newborns sleep most of the day....at least 16 hours. But for some reason my little girl(5 weeks) is up ALL day. She takes little 10 minute naps here and there, but she's up most of the day til like 4am and is awake again by around 1pm. I know that she's getting an ok amount of sleep, but is it enough for a newborn?? I'm getting a little worried and I'm extremely tired myself. How is SHE not tired??

(With apologies to Mel Brooks and his Blazing Saddles.)

Ever see yourself as just a pawn (Pawns are usually associated with being victims)? How often do you feel this way?

Where do you see yourself most often in the game of life? As a pawn? A knight? Perhaps a bishop or a rook?

How often does your perception of yourself as a player change? And how often do you see yourself in multiple rolls? Running through the gauntlet, trying to balance the many roles you’re playing.

And no points for you if you only see yourself as either a king or queen?

Because there are a lot of questions that I'd like answers to. I'm not saying I necessarily think one way or the other yet, but I would like to hear rebuttals to some of the strong arguements the theorists have. Look to my prior question for examples of these questions.Basically, I just want to give both schools of thought a chance to refute each other.
