Woman have what doctors refer to as a "Self Cleaning Oven". Alot of times your flow of blood will stop but your uterus is still cleaning out the remains that gather on the vaginal walls. Believe it or not that is normal for a lot of woman. Just keep an eye on it.

That can be normal.....it is like "old blood" Sometimes periods can start or end like that. I think it is just your hormones. Have you started or stopped taking birth control lately or have you been stressed out...or it could be your cycle is "off" cycle. Different medications can also change your hormones. It is not abnormal for things to change...but if it doesn't seem to stop soon I would say call your OBGYN (hopefully you have one) and they can tell you over the phone or may have you come in. I think it is normal and have had the same thing when I was younger. Maybe use a douche and cleanse the area out and wear a pantyliner not a tampon until it stops. Hope I have helped!!!

It sounds normal. I think pretty much every woman has gone thru this. If you are rather young and new to the period thing then its completely normal and it can take up to 2 years before it gets on track. Hopefully it wont be that way for you but I wouldnt worry too much. If you have had normal on track period then you could have just been under a lot of stress, that always messes it up. If it worries you a lot then there is never any harm in going to see the doctor.
good luck to you

Girl-to-girl:
NOPE, it is the 'middle' thing before your next period, it is when the egg has left the ovary and is traveling down the fallopian tubes, the lining has shed and results in some discharge...
It is okay, si just use a small pad, it can last for a long time, don't worry, we all have it.
Isn't it tough to be a girl?
Good luck, girl! ^_^

To all the idiots that grossed out on this lady's question. It's fools like you that kept woman's health in the back closet for centuries. When a lady says this is kinda personal and lists it under women's health, guess what that means? Get out your crayons and work on it.
ps. I'm a male, I'm just not a stupid male.

Nope, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with that. Discharge will often become more prominent and change 2 weeks after your period, because this is your most fertile time. I wouldn't worry anything about it.

First of all, ignore those assholes above me and report each and everyone of them. Depending on how old you are and how long you've had your period, it might just be irregular and even though you just had it two weeks ago, you're getting some spotting. If you're worried about it, go to a gyno.

Any time that you experience something unusual, it's a good idea to get it checked out. It sounds to me as if your body is throwing off its uterine lining at mid-cycle--which is odd. I couldn't tell you what the problem might be, and that's why it's best left up to a professional to check it out.
