go to a meeting. There's AA for drunks, NA for Druggies, and even GA for Gambleholics. Keep going back, it works!!!

there is no cure for addiction, you have to take one day at a time. when I quit drinking I had to quit feeling sorry for myself I had to keep myself out of situations that would make me want to drink,and I had to distance myself from my friends who drank.I lost a few friends when I quit drinking, but they really were just drinking buddies now that I look back. You may want to contact your local mental health department and get evaluated, and they will help you on the road to recovery.You can get better, I did I have been sober 3 1/2 years and I feel better get along better with my family life is just better. Not sure you can. You have to work on the addictions and fight them everyday. You have to be in constant recovery. If you know you have the family tendency you must not stop. You must go to a place that specializes in addiction and if you have a mental illness too a place that speacializes in dual diagnosis.

i take it you mean that you get addicted to things ( alcohol, drugs, food, sex, etc) easily?
You could start going to AA ( or the appropriate place for you to start.) They can teach you new ways of thinking.
You might have to work through 1 addiction at a time.

it's about changing old behaviours, being a part of a membership of people like NA, AA, SA, etc. to build relationships with people experiencing the same thing; to strengthen your spirtuality by doing the work in the program.

why would you? Is this out of envy or something you can't live with? If i had it I would be more than happy to live with it and be very popular.
