A relative of mine was just brought home after a night drinking and most likely partying, she is very drunk. She can hardly stand and walk on her own. She is barely awake enough to make the I Love You and thumbs up signs. We (the relative and myself) have a considerable age difference and I am wondering what can I do to help her while she is drunk so she doesn't get into a drunken rage?
I already placed a small bathroom trashcan lined with a towel I found in the room so she could throw up.
She is still in her clothes (a dressy tube top and blue jeans), make up, and contacts. She shouldn't sleep in make up or contacts and would be uncomfortable in clothes all night. I don't want to discomfort her, but I don't want either of us to be in trouble come morning and she is still in her clothes and has a massive hangover. I don't want us to be in trouble if it can be avoided by doing something. We are good kids who don't get into trouble like this and she is of age to drink.
What can I do?

A man walked into work on Monday with two black eyes. His boss asked what happened.
The man said, "I was sitting behind a big woman at church. When we stood up to sing hymns, I noticed that her dress was caught in her crack, so I pulled it out. She turned around and punched me square in the eye."

"Where did you get the other shiner?" the boss asked.

"Well," the man said, "I figured she didn't want it out, so I pushed it back in."

Can you tell me what year Days first aired?

I know a lot of bashing goes on here and that some folks ask questions as jokes; sometimes I even get caught up in it.

But it seems that I can't ask any serious or sincere questions regarding religion without at least one person asking "why do you want to know?", as if my motive must be to subvert his/her faith.

Then, in "Politics" I ask "when and why was the phrase 'under God' added to the Pledge of Allegiance?" Most gave me factual information, but a couple said something to the effect "do you have a problem with it?"

I see this situation as being of some concern, especially for those of us who are actually interested in learning more about the many religions that exist in our world today and have existed in the past.

And my apologies, in advance, if anyone feels the need to get defensive or feels offended over this question.

Atheists say Christians are close-minded because we refuse to believe there is no God and take up their belief. Yet atheists refuse to believe there is a God and take up our beliefs. Isn't that as close-minded as they say Christians are? And can't we all get along without shoving each other's beliefs down our throats and condemning the "other side"?

Yes!I know rising hot air and falling cold air is an over simplification. But going on that definition alone, if the air is going up, would'nt that mean that then we could track potential areas that could develop a twister? Cuase if the hot air going up then doesnt that mean the earth is getting rid of the heat into space? Kind of like what the sweat glands do for the body?Couldnt we take measurements of the surface earth tempatures or surface water temp for areas getting too hot, and then possibly do something about it before it turns into a tornadoe, hurricane, or twister?
That's just my idea about it given global warming. Or am missing something that ya'll know and I dont?

Why do women say they hate feet when they show them off spectacularly at Dave Matthews concerts?
Why is it that women say feet are nasty, yet adorn and show their feet at any given notice at these concerts? I was at one tonight and I never seen so many barefeet and pink and red toenails at one time in my entire life. Do you feel like you have to doll yourself up or something? BTW, I'm not complaining. A whole lot of these women looked hot.

Here's the highlights reel for anyone still voting for the Democrats:

November 1979: Muslim extremists (Iranian variety) seized the U.S. embassy in Iran and held 52 American hostages for 444 days, following Democrat Jimmy Carter's masterful foreign policy granting Islamic fanaticism its first real foothold in the Middle East.

1982: Muslim extremists (mostly Hezbollah) began a nearly decade-long habit of taking Americans and Europeans hostage in Lebanon, killing William Buckley and holding Terry Anderson for 6 1/2 years.

April 1983: Muslim extremists (Islamic Jihad or possibly Hezbollah) bombed the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, killing 16 Americans.

October 1983: Muslim extremists (Hezbollah) blew up the U.S. Marine barracks at the Beirut airport, killing 241 Marines.

December 1983: Muslim extremists (al-Dawa) blew up the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, killing five and injuring 80.

September 1984: Muslim extremists (Hezbollah) exploded a truck bomb at the U.S. Embassy annex in Beirut, killing 24 people, including two U.S. servicemen.

December 1984: Muslim extremists (probably Hezbollah) hijacked a Kuwait Airways airplane, landed in Iran and demanded the release of the 17 members of al-Dawa who had been arrested for the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, killing two Americans before the siege was over.

June 14, 1985: Muslim extremists (Hezbollah) hijacked TWA Flight 847 out of Athens, diverting it to Beirut, taking the passengers hostage in return for the release of the Kuwait 17 as well as another 700 prisoners held by Israel. When their demands were not met, the Muslims shot U.S. Navy diver Robert Dean Stethem and dumped his body on the tarmac.

October 1985: Muslim extremists (Palestine Liberation Front backed by Libya) seized an Italian cruise ship, the Achille Lauro, killing 69-year-old American Leon Klinghoffer by shooting him and then tossing his body overboard.

December 1985: Muslim extremists (backed by Libya) bombed airports in Rome and Vienna, killing 20 people, including five Americans.

April 1986: Muslim extremists (backed by Libya) bombed a discotheque frequented by U.S. servicemen in West Berlin, injuring hundreds and killing two, including a U.S. soldier.

December 1988: Muslim extremists (backed by Libya) bombed Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing all 259 on board and 11 on the ground.
(Then came an amazing, historic pause in Muslim extremists' relentless war on America after Ronald Reagan won the Cold War by doing the opposite of everything recommended by Democrats, depriving Islamic terrorists of their Soviet sponsors. This confuses liberals because they don't understand the concept of terror sponsors, whether it's the Soviet Union or Iraq.)

February 1993: Muslim extremists (al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya, possibly with involvement of friendly rival al-Qaida) set off a bomb in the basement of the World Trade Center, killing six and wounding more than 1,000.

Spring 1993: Muslim extremists (al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya, the Sudanese Islamic Front and at least one member of Hamas) plot to blow up the Lincoln and Holland tunnels, the U.N. complex, and the FBI's lower Manhattan headquarters.

November 1995: Muslim extremists (possibly Iranian "Party of God") explode a car bomb at U.S. military headquarters in Saudi Arabia, killing five U.S. military servicemen.

June 1996: Muslim extremists (13 Saudis and a Lebanese member of Hezbollah, probably with involvement of al-Qaida) explode a truck bomb outside the Khobar Towers military complex, killing 19 American servicemen and injuring hundreds.

August 1998: Muslim extremists (al-Qaida) explode truck bombs at U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 and injuring thousands.

October 2000: Muslim extremists (al-Qaida) blow up the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Cole, killing 17 U.S. sailors.

Sept. 11, 2001: Muslim extremists (al-Qaida) hijack commercial aircraft and fly planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania, killing nearly 3,000 Americans.

My 5 1/2 year old daughter has been fascinated with all-things medical for about the last 18 months. She swears she wants to be a surgeon and, with her continued interest and knowledge of the subject, I doubt this is a passing fancy.

She's already plowed through the first aid books I have and, enjoys looking at the pics in my copy of Gray's Anatomy. I had the companion workbook, too, but she took that over and actually identified and colored the stuff on the pages.

This part used to bug me some, but the pediatrician said it was okay so long as it didn't scare her--which obviously it does not. My daughter adores the Discovery Health channel, especially anything related to surgery. Between the books and TV, she's learned an awful lot more than the average kid about medical stuff and surgery and wants to know more.

Thing is, for once I'm stumped. She's got a play doctor kit and all that, but what else can we get to help her learn even more?
