I've heard that scientists are making strides towards the day when we may be able to determine important parts of our children's appearence and personalities, such as height, body type, temperament and intelligence, before they are even born. If you had the option to cusomize your baby, would you? If so, how? And what do you think are the social implications of such technology?

in the US there are so many from the northeast,southern twang,west coast ,jersey,boston,midwest etc...
many people in the US just assume the english as having one whole accent.
I can easily tell apart the english,irish ,scottish ,australian
accents.how many english are there? do you sometimes maybe mock a different regional dialect in a way that would be lost on an american?

I am 37, dating a divorced 37 yr old man from India. I already know that he is Hindu, (not Muslim) and he has been in the U.S. for 6 years. Does anyone know about how Indian men view American women, and/or any traditions or attitudes I should be aware of while dating him? I really like him and would appreciate any information you may have related to this. :)

i live an hour away from my doctor so i dont want to go up there for nothing if its probably a false labor. im gettting little cramps around every five minutes, but they are really small and dont really hurt that much. my belly gets hard too and a few minutes ago i felt like i was going to puke(and i have no had ANY morning sickness or thrown up at all during this pregnancy). it kind of feels like im hungry, but i ate the BIGGEST dinner ever. my baby is also moving ALOT!! i am due july 30. what do you think?? should i call my mom and wake her and tell her or do you think its probably false? i figured real labor would be unbearable but these dont really bother me. and yes i can feel a little pain in my lower back when they happen too, but it doesnt really hurt
