Anyone written a book and tried to get it published?

I understand that most publishers don't even read unsolicited manuscripts. Did you get an agent and what does that mean in terms of cost?

I haven't even written one yet, but am about to start I am not even sure if you type it double spaced or anything... any experiences welcome..

Strange behaviour?

HDoes anybody know any more strange behaviours/habits us humans have?

1) We cover our mouths when we yawn and cough, even when we're alone.

2) If someone bumps into you they apologise and you accept, however if you accidently pull out in front of someone in the car they sound their horn and give you the V sign and proceed to drive so close they are almost in your boot.

Why does everyone come here just to criticise Maradona?

Please, y'all know that y'all won't get wat u'all want so why trouble urselves?????? Maradona is the heart and soul of every Argentine soccer fans. And Cary I and soccer4life I was just being saracsic in my previous post abt him .... every Argentine soccer fan has gotta be a Maradona fan. Why do Americans hate communism?

Americans need to embrace communism like the Europeans. Europeans are happy little commies. The Irish especially love communism. Ireland is probably the most communist country in western europe.

What does it mean when someone touches your knee?

This happened a few times at dinner with a member of the opposite sex (male). It was underneath the table so the one other person at dinner could not/ did not see. Was it a way of emphasizing the conversations, or did it mean more?

Were you surprised that Floyd Landis failed the drug test?

I was very skeptical when I found out that Landis covered up 6 minutes on the 17th stage and won the Tour de France. though it is not impossible, but it is highly unlikely.

What's the proper punctuation for "Residents Association"?
