Do you even know the meaning of Communism? While some European nations still have small (and largely irrelevant) Communist parties, there are no Communist nations left in Europe. And Ireland (of all places) is not even remotely Communist.
Currently, the Irish are enjoying the most robust economic growth rate in the EU. And this is entirely because of Ireland embracing Free-Market (i.e. "CAPITALIST") reforms that make it easier for private investors to create jobs, and ensure a better future for the Irish people.

Americans believe every last individual has the right to advance as far as they want. Social classes would cease to exist. Society would reside in the hands of those who invest in their labor for production. There would be no structuralized government.
Countries of communism declare that many problems in society are due to the unequal distribution of wealth. So, their theory was to bring about happiness and prosperity for all, the distinctions between the rich and poor of society must be eliminated. And since the rich will never give up their goods or status voluntarily, a rebellion of the poor -- the working class -- is necessary.
Thus, Communism is a distinct socio-political philosophy that is willing to use violent means to attain its goal of a classless society. Communism embraces atheism and dismisses religion as “the opiate of the masses,” a system designed by the rich and powerful to keep the poor in their place.
But Communism’s quest for a classless society is bound to fail. “Communism doesn’t work for American's because people like to own stuff.” Furthermore, someone has to hold the money bag even in a communist-style society. And whoever holds the bag becomes not only a target for those looking on but for the subtle interior demons of pride, avarice, and self-preservation.
If there will always be the poor, then there will always be the rich. There will always be division, the haves and the have-nots, and any attempt to establish a classless society this side of heaven, particularly through the violent and godless ways of Communism, is destined to frustration and failure.

I think that some of the elements of a desire for communism exist when people complain about how large corporations are screwing up the American family, polluting the atmosphere, and making off like bandits at the expense of the average worker. However, these elements are overridden by the average American's not-so-secret desire to eventually become one of them! Plus, there haven't been any real good models for communism as practically all countries that have become officially communist have degenerated into third-world-type societies. As for the social welfare states such as Europe and to an extent Canada have too much taxation, which is why we broke off from Great Britain in the first place.
Hope that's useful.

Because communism is about as flawed as a government system as it comes. I mean seriously, actually go and READ and UNDERSTAND what it is.
The top exploits the working class, even though thats what they are trying to promote. Communism doesn't work without an external threat, so your country has to be at war at all times in order to keep your control. It's a joke, and no country has ever prospered under true communism.
Look at the European economy, it's declining terribly. I mean the only country that is somewhat communist and doing okay is China. But again they aren't communist anymore, which is why they are okay. So please, go get a clue.

Well, we do have a limited amount of communism already in American society. Taxes pay for public schools, a welfare system, Social Security, public parks, etc. However the spreading of wealth must come from the people, not the government forcing the issue -- and this also already happens to some extent. Churches give to charitable causes. Companies "give back" to their communities through various projects. Charities collect donations and help the poor. And the government supports this with tax returns. I'd call it good, keep voting Republican.

I know, I'm communist as well, however a socialist party needs to be made first, we're to heavily on democracy for a sudden change. although many don't realize that democracy is required for communism though as well so they think it's bullshit and like where they are now. We have been put through so much damn propoganda that most don't realize it and brush it off as nothing.
Not only that christians run the damn show with there Theocracy here. Don't hate the christians just a lot of them seem extremely narrow minded.

Sovereign free market nations would fear communism because if its revolutionary ideology that advocates overthrow of the state and. The communist ideology poses a threat to existing systems of government and those who have invested billions in a capitalist economy. However, it is important that the best be taken from this ideology and the lowest section sof the people be taken care of without destroying existing structures.

Because we are so wealthy. Also, people were afraid of Stalin. Hitler wrecked Socialism even though he was a capitalist. It's a crying shame he called his party National Socialism. Socialism not communism is what America and the entire world need.

Because the Americans practise a different line of communism compared to the Russians or the Chinese. It is just the same as a pot calling the kettle black.
