I was very skeptical when I found out that Landis covered up 6 minutes on the 17th stage and won the Tour de France. though it is not impossible, but it is highly unlikely.

Yes, absolutely! I did not suspect Landis at all. I rejoiced in his win. Floyd let it be known to everyone, his teammates and his competitors, prior to the start of Stage 17 that he was going to go for broke on that leg from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to Morzine-Avoriaz. He had to in order to give himself a chance to win in Paris. His main rivals let him go thinking he was crazy to attack so early in the stage. Incidentally, Oscar Pereiro, who finished second in the overall classification, made up nearly 30 minutes during Stage 13 to take the yellow jersey. There's no evidence he was doping during the Tour. Therefore, though it was surprising Floyd finished 7'08" ahead of Pereiro, it wasn't impossible to believe.

Did not expect it. Didn't think Floyd had doped. He was the last that I expected. I never had an inkling of any kind that he was the type- even more than Hamilton.

I was a bit devastated when I read the article about UCI finding positive results from a "major" Tour participant. And after I had read it, I thought that it might be Floyd they are talking about. Because this "leak" wouldn't have been made, otherwise (i.e. he won the race and he was American).

But I will keep saying it - the burden is on UCI and WADA. They need to PROVE (beyond a reasonable doubt) that Floyd doped. And Floyd, MUST do the endocrologic testing after Monday (whether he gets a negative or positive result on the B test), to prove to the public that he's telling the truth.

Well, we'll see.

In the meantime, good riding!

Well if its true, that explains alot. It just doesnt seem like something he would intentionally do. He seems like a person of high character. The second test will prove.
