Let me say first, I'm looking for answers from Muslims . Please, all the bigots need not post nasty comments. I'm very Muslim-friendly and have a sincere question about Islam, thanx.

Okay, here's what I don't understand. From my understanding, Islam says that when people become a Muslim, they "revert" back to Islam because they were born Muslim. How can a baby be a Muslim when s/he has no idea what's going on? What does it mean to be born a Muslim? Babies don't know anything about Islam, just as they don't know about Christianity. Catholics baptize their babies, but the babies don't know what they're doing. They also believe in Original Sin, that all babies are born with a sin on their souls. Ridiculous, yes, no baby sins. Either way, whether bad or good, both Original Sin and being born Muslim don't make sense to me if a baby knows nothing.

Can anyone please explain?

In 1969 I was told we would win in Vietnam. Yes! I was told that by my American Government. At the time the Korean Veterans were telling me we wouldn't win... ( I told them they were crazy because we were and are the most powerful military in the world ) My President said "We will endure! We will not turn our backs on the new Government of Vietnam! etc...Etc...( You know the rest of the "We will get um talk ) Well, I watched the USA cut and run from Vietnam on 30th April 1975 and I will now ask all the people here...."When will we cut and run from Iraq? ( And we will cut and run ). I know......I know.....We hear the President say "We will endure!! We will not turn our backs on the new Government of Iraq!! So I say again....When will we leave Iraq? I live in Texas, where the land is so dry it cracks. The perimeter of my house has developed cracks in the ground wide enough that I could fit my hand under the foundation.

I have set up a soaker hose system which should help to remedy the problem, but the question is should I fill those cracks with something, and if so, what should I use? Or will the soaker hoses be enough?
