If you can wait a month, it might be worth it. Nikon just announced that they'll be coming out with something new soon: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0607/06072001nikondslrteaser.asp
This will probably be a replacement for the D70 (which you might rather have, or which might lower the price of the remaining D70 stock.)
