take off the side cover, get a can of aerosol air at the local computer shop and blow the dirt and dust off of everything, including the case...
your chip is overheating... but a fan to install too. 9 bucks or so.
cools things down a lot.

unless your hair got caught in your malfunctioning fan while you were trying to fix it, this shouldnt be in the hair section or labeled funny either.
