I was in that. Pretty tough business.....lots of competition. Retail is ok if in the right spot but the money, I feel, is in the garages that you wholesale to. If gararges are your thing then location isn't that important but retail..it is all location. I could tell you more. email if you'd like.

Having a private auto parts store unless it was like a Napa or Car Qwest would be tough business. With Autozone, OReilly's, and Advance Auto parts in business now
