we bought the car used, about a month or so after buying it, it wouldn't start (it's a Ford Contour SE by the way) We took it to Ford to have em look at it, and they found that the starter needed to be replaced. About a month after we had that done it wouldn't start again and we took it back and they told us it was a faulty part and replaced the starter again. It's been a little over a month now and the car is having the same problems. My fiance' has a theory it's electrical as we have had problems with the turn signals since we bought it too, Ford looked at it and said it was an electrical problem (with the turn signals) and they apparently fixed it. Now the turns signals have completely gone out so my fiance' tried replacing the fuses, but that did nothing. Which is why he thinks it may be connected to the problem with the starter, and that it may be electrical. I am just frusterated cuz Ford should know the most about a Ford car and if they can't find the problem, who can?

Ok, I cant decide what to do this weekend, my options are 1- Go out of town and stay in a hotel and go shopping with my parents and husband, 2- Go out of town for 2 nights and stay with sister in-law for the first night and hotel the second night. or 3- stay how with my husband and save our money. I really dont know what to do. am not retarded, I have what is known as Asperger's Syndrome- which to doc's is like being 'a little bit autistic'- but it is a lesser problem to those whom have it. My I.Q. is over 130, and I have an extremely good memory to say the least- photographic -and am very musically inclined. I have a recognized mental disability but most people dont even know what Asperger's is. People with this disorder can be doctor's or lawyers, they just have very difficult isssues with emotions, intimacy, trust and things of that nature, my perception is off. Now, if this defines me as 'retarded' than fine. If I was to be SO LUCKY as to be with this person that I want that has Autism and is a little worse off than I- he isnt going to get an erection and sit and tolerate touching of that nature without WANTING to do it-- they HATE to be touched; now that is Autistics, not people just having mild retardation-- but the guy up top said it is illegal in all cases unless you are also retarded and that is not

I just graduated with my degree in English and minor in photography at a top-tier college in Minnesota. I'm having a hard time finding work that pays at least $10/hr with benefits, which seems reasonable to expect with a degree and student loans coming! Does anyone know of any good places to work with current vacancies that pay at least this for someone with my background? (Though it doesn't have to be related to English [writing, reading, secretarial, etc.] or photography, so long as I don't need a degree in something else, like nursing.) My husband and I have been together for 10 years, married for 2 and in our house for 2. The problem is that we both make very modest salaries (under $70,000 total) and although we do have a small savings we're worried about the financial strain of starting a family...

The flip side is that I may have fertility issues and we want to get started as soon as possible so that we have plenty of time to try if needed.

I'm curious what other people have done in our situation...because we're not doing anything...

I need to buy some 4' x 8' plywood sheets. I hate to pay for delivery or truck rental if I can help it, and I don't have any good friends with pickup trucks. I do have a roof rack on our SUV, but can't think of any safe way to secure the plywood. Any creative ideas, or should I just accept the fact that I need to rent a truck?
