I need a really good pratical joke to play on my husband. He is always doing funny sh*t to me like taping the water hose on the sink so when I turn it on it sprays water all over me. I once switched the bathroom door handle around and locked him inside. I need something really good and really funny, but nothing that will physically harm him. Any ideas??

We took her to the vet after the second day; they took her temp and listened to her heart. That was it. She's appreared to be sick for four days total now. Something's not right.

She is almost four years old; she's been partially fixed [as one of her ovaries is attatched to her urater (sp) so one could not be removed]. She is usually VERY personable; follows us EVERYWHERE, come when she is called (seriously!) and "talks" ALL THE TIME.

The past few days she has been lethargic, doesn't make a peep and squints a lot. Her breathing is heavy (we can hear it). Her mouth also seems to be slightly cracked opened at times (not always).

Does this mean anything?? Can I help her?? Should I ask the vet any specific questions?

(By the way: if you're going to suggest that I stick her in the microwave or something else rediculous like that, move on...).

i was never that "close" to him, but secretly i admired him. he came from icredible poverty in a 3rd world country and was a scholar--had a full ride @ Purdue & MIT. he never forgot his roots ans helped the rest of his siblings go thru college. he was a domineering, overbearing man who struggled w/his fiercely independent daughter. six years ago, he died of a massive heart attack--that wkend i was going to anounce my pregnancy. he would have been overjoyed. My 5 year old daughter has traits of her grandpa. i often wonder if my father can see her & often cry and think how foolish i was in my youth to engage in battle that really don't mean much to me anymore. I want to say,"look fatherr, here is your granddauhgter--a slice of me, only better. Does the pain ever go away and will we meet again?
