Work the overtime, save the money and have a sexy date with the hubby at home. For example a picnic in the living room in the nude or if he is a really sweet guy maybe he will cook you dinner and rub your feet. If he was mine it would be he would cook and we would share a bath later. Hope I gave you some good ideas. Have a great weekend.

If making this trip is something that you feel you will truly regret later, then you should probably stay home. Sometimes, we just need a break and getting away is just what the doctor ordered, then you may just "bite the bullet" and go enjoy yourself. If it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and you are just really wanting to go, then take the most money-saving, economical route and put in some extra hours to make up for it when you return. If spontaneity if what got you into the financial bind to begin with, the answer is obvious, gotta break the chain. Good Luck and try not to stress so much. If it doesn't feel right, you probably shouldn't do it!

If you are trying to save your money for something that is important to you, I would go with option #3
There will be other times to do the other things. Get the overtime money on Saturday and you will be that much closer to what your saving for. On Sunday, have a great day with your husband.
Good luck in which ever way you go.

Stay home but maybe go out to eat at a nice but cheap restuarant. You still save money compared to getting a hotel, but get that quality romancing time together.

If you are going to miss work and loose the overtime why not do it to spend time alone with your hubby instead of spending it somewhere else with other people. Most couples would love a weekend alone together

stay home, work, and bank your money. When you saved enough splurge a little and you and your husband go out for a romantic dinner or go to the beach.
