Because this is the internet where millions of people from all walks of life who have access to a computer and internet from all over the world come for amusement and entertainment. What you or anyone else may find offensive someone else may find amusing, it is all a matter of taste. There is no way of making everyone happy on the net. I agree that some questions are really pretty lame but oh well I just move along. When you see something that doesnt appeal to you just change the page why let it bother you.
