I will soon have a 11 yr old step daughter. How do I form a good foundation for a relationship with her? How can I help not having any frustration or resentment towards the daughter or ex-wife? I look at the way things were when I was young and now look at the children today.

Lets just look at a few differences.
Dating (then)be back by 8 and your girlfriends have to go with you! (now)go ahead just dont do anything stupid..and call if you are going to stay over

Makeup (then)not until your 18 (now) i will buy you your own if you stop using mine

clothes (then)make sure you abide by the school rules and if i find anything indecent i will burn it (now) heres 200 go school shopping and show me when you get home

Tv (then)dont watch anything that swears and shows the impression of having sexual relations (now) that was a nice rack and look a dismembered body ><

celebrity...(then) wow did you see that dress was really pretty (now) those tassles really covered her nipples

I'm BP2, have BPD and have been off my meds since June 12th. I was taking Lamictal (400 mgs/day), Prozac (20mgs/day), Klonopin (1mg as needed), and Ambien CR (as needed).
I've been doing well off my meds, I am not in such a fog, but the last couple of days I've been getting REALLY pissed off at stupid stuff.
It could be PMS, but I've never felt like this with PMS.
I'm so high strung I feel like someone is taking a cheese grater to my insides!
Time to get back on the meds?

I moved to Portland from San Diego, hoping it would stay cooler in summer.. I HATE hot weather and anything over 85 drives me crazy. Is there anywhere nice to live in WA, OR, or CA that stays cooler? Lincoln City OR is nice but there's nothing to do there!

We are happy together in marriage, as a Christmas present I brought home a another girl. We actually did not like it. There was not jealousy, it was not as much fun as we thought.
