Well i would say no but if the woman is wearing a short enough skirt so show she is wearing the thigh highs or stockings then yes that is a bit promiscuous. Most ladies who wear them are not showing them off unless by accident or posing in them.

No one is going to see your thi high stockings, especially if you wear the kind with a garter belt and keep them up high where they belong. I wear them to a cooperate office everyday, and nobody knows what they are, except I don't have wrinkly legs and complain all day long like the pantyhose ladies do.

You can wear open toe heels, if you are wearing sandlefoot stockings in nude or tan, and they are ultra-sheer. Your legs will look finished and beautiful, and your toes will stay together instead of being splayed like a frog on your feet. You will look ladylike and sophisticated, and no one will know what you are wearing, except you look much better than the others. I have hav shoe sales women insist I put on those little foot-lets, because they refused to believe I was wearing nylons, that is how sheer they can be if you get the right kind.

How would anyone know if they are stockings or pantyhose. I wear pantyhose during the day, but my husband hates them, so I wear stockings and a garter belt when I am with him, but nobody else knows what I am wearing. I wear ultra sheer sandlefoot stockings and pantyhose in the summer, so it is impossible to see the nylons even when I wear high heel sandals.

Street walkers usually are the ones with bare legs and open shoes. I don't think they even know what an expensive pair of pumps look like.

First of all...please don't do the stockings WITH the open toe shoes!

Second...the stockings are fine unless the woman is wearing something so short that you can tell that they are thigh-highs. Then they look a little street-walkerish.

No I don't think so at all. If a woman feels that she looks good in that outfit she should be able to wear it and not worry about what anyone else may feel about her. Some men may look at them in that way but that is their opinion. As long as the men just look and don't assume anything then everyone will be fine.

No, because if they are not promoscuous no one will know what they are wearing . Open toe shooes are an entirely different matter. If they wear very sheer sandlefoot stockings in a neutral color, unless someone is crawling around on their hands and knees, no one will notice either.
