Are there nice places to live in OR, WA, and CA that stay under 90 degrees?

I moved to Portland from San Diego, hoping it would stay cooler in summer.. I HATE hot weather and anything over 85 drives me crazy. Is there anywhere nice to live in WA, OR, or CA that stays cooler? Lincoln City OR is nice but there's nothing to do there!

Pacifica, CA is always nice, next to San Francisco. That's where I like to go sometimes when it's extremely hot elsewhere.
