I am 6 months pregnant expecting my first child a son in October. My ex dumped me the first Saturday in June he said that I am to hormonal and I was to bitchy. He then had the nerve to tell me that he didnt think that the baby was his. Now he is sorry and he wants me to take him back but I feel that I shouldnt because of the way he acted. Should I forgive and forget and accpet him back? I have also decieded to give the child my last name instead of his is that a mistake as well? Please someone help me figure this mess.

I've consulted dictionaries, but the use of the phrase "believes in" means (eg. believes in God, Jesus)?

I have seen several posts with an interesting rhetorical strategy:

The poster will say that "the devil/Satan 'believes in' God"

Does this mean that he simply believes that God exists?

Or do they (Satan and his legions) truly believe IN God, just like theists believe IN God and Christians believe IN Jesus?

This is also used as a defense that belief IN God is not sufficient to gain entry into heaven: Satan believes IN God but cannot go to Heaven. So I am led to believe that Satan may believe IN God the same way that theists do.

Doesn't saying "believe in" imply more than just a "belief of" something? I'm not playing semantic games here; I really would like to know.

how can i find out if i qualify for HEAP?

I live in Ohio and am a single mother with low income. My electric bill was INSANE last month and I can't afford to pay it. Cinergy just turned into Duke Energy and I heard they hand out disconnection notices like candy. If you don't know what HEAP is, it's a program that gives a voucher to mail to the electric company to help pay the bill once a year. I have 2 kids (one 10 week old) and need to keep them out of the 90 something degree heat as long as I can. The central air was fighting with the furnace so it was constantly running all month until the complex had someone come out to fix it. I'm sure my next bill will come with a disconnection notice, I am hoping the month's electric will be less since the AC is fixed.

Shoulld I change my daughter's school, 2nd grade. She is the only Black there, been there for 3 yrs. ?

They refuse to challege her and teach her at her level in Read/Spell, but she wants to go back. It has started to stunt her academically... no one played w/ her much last yr. The new school is larger, very few Blacks, yet it has it problems also, so I have heard. HELP !!!

Does anyone know of a quote that says "as you walk, travel (or something like that) be where you are" ?

I have been trying to think of this quote that I heard a while ago and all I get when I search online are song lyrics that aren't rignt. It says something about walking, or maybe traveling or talking, but the important part of it is the "be where you are". I think I might have read it in Reader's Digest a long time ago, but I really have no clue. Any help will be greatly appreciated, even if it isn't the exact quote I am looking for... something along the same lines will work for me as well. Thank you everyone that tries to help!!
