Well, I don't know about epinephrine for hemostatis during surgery. But I do know that a vial of 30 mg epinephrine 1:1000 solution (1mg/ml)(used for subcutaneous injection) runs about $8 a bottle. And I looked up thrombin on Google, and it tends to run between $50 and $100 for a 50-100 mcg bottle. Of course, you need a physican's authorization to buy these items.
