Go easy on me - I'm new to the world of investing.

In my 401k there are various funds, of which I can peridocially monitor the progress of. When I log into my account, I can change the individual contribution rate to each fund at any time for no charge.

Anyhow, if I see a fund in the red (performing negatively currently) would it make sense to LOWER the current contribution, until the percentages start going positive? The logic (possibly flawed) being that a fund will rarely make a weekly positive-negative-positive-negative zigzag, but will instead continue to slope in one way or the other for a limited time. Skewed logic perhaps, but like I said earlier, I'm new at this stuff. So would it make sense to LOWER the contribution to a fund in red, until it hits positive and starts climbing again?

I'd appreciate some advice. And please, go easy on me here... :)

The reason why I ask this question is because a lot of women are attracted to tough guys. However, females please understand this. You can never judge a book by its cover. For example, myself, I look like an ordinary joe, I don't look tough at all. I don't fear any other guys though, and I'm quick to protect anything that belongs to me, including my woman. However, just because I don't dress like thugs or bad boys doesn't necessary mean I don't qualify as one. I don't really care about fashion and looking tough because I know who I am. Females if you want a real man you need to look for a guy who feel he doesn't have to impress you. I'm real. That's real. To put it short, I'm a tough guy, don't dress like one, females will not give attention or consideration to guys like myself and others because we don't look tough. Never judge a book by its cover ladies. There are tough guys out there who don't give a damn about fashion. It's really a teenage thing to me. Females look with their eyes

For years and years I've heard from numerous sources that almost all of big American media is owned my Jews. Is this true? If so, why and how are they able to control such a huge and influentual source of American thought? Are there implications for this especially pertaining that it can be assumed that most Jews have support for Isreal? How could this affect what we are hearing everyday and how we are hearing it? How would Americans perceive the media if it were controlled largely by Muslims or Mormoms? Would we trust it? Can any one group that has certain political and religious agendas be trusted when handling such an important industry? Thanks for any feedback!

did you wait to see and was disappointed when you finally got to see it. Mine is King Kong. It wasn't extremely bad but a majority of the movie is diappointing. There were some good parts, for instance, when Kong is pissed off at the end of the movie.

Lets pick a talent... say.. singing. Okay, so there are tonnes of people out there who think they can sing.. I mean honestly think they can sing.. and they suck.. they're horrible.. and listening to it makes me want to kill myself.. this leads me to this conclusion..

People wouldn't really sing and think they're good at it if they KNEW they sucked right? So, does this mean that when I sing and think I'm good that I really suck? Am I stuck in the same boat as these other people?

I can't sing a note, this is just hypothetical .. replace singing with any talent that you can think of if you want.
