for one i think harry potter is loads better even though i like pirates

Harry Potter is far the better movie, no doubt.
Pirates is okay and a good movie.

Given that I've read all of the Harry Potter books and own all of the movies, one would assume I'd say Harry Potter. However, while I do like the movies, I find them a bit disappointing after reading the books. So I'm going to say Pirates of the Caribbean, simply because what you see is what you get. You don't have the background that you have from reading a book so you don't end up disappointed if it deviates.

Harry Potter definitely...Pirates yes are cute but the Show of Harry Potter Is MUCH better...

I saw Pirates 2 last night. Harry Potter is better. The story is much more interesting.

How can you even compare Harry Potter and Pirates.... ? Anyway, Pirates.. is very good, and Harry Potter is complete crap. Thank christ he is being killed off soon and we won't have to listen to anymore about the prick.

harry potter, more imagination went into it..
but Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom make Pirates fantastic!
