I'd like to see your source and exactly how it was phrased instead of your interpretation of it. Be that as it may, don't most all religions have an intolerant stain to them? The Christian Crusades and the Inquisition are infamous examples, but the world, both past and present, is filled with inter sectarian violence. If you feel offended by it, join the other side. Involve yourself with the peace movement(s).

The Quran does not say it is okay to kill a Jew is doesn't condone killing of anyone anymore then the Chrisitian Bible condones murder or the Torah condones it. People of all religious beliefs will try to use their faith as a basis to justify war or murder but none of these faiths actually condone it. Some of the people in the Muslim world are illiterate and therefore depend on their religious leaders to tell them what the Quran says and those people have lied completely or twisted the truth so that these killings will continue. I would also like to mention howvever that it is no different than when you go to church and your priest or pastor tells you war time killings are okay because the Bible condones war killings and doesnt see them as murder. That isnt true either.

Likewise in the Old Testament, battles against non-Jews is put over as a good thing (when they won).

This is one reason why I read both the Bible and the Koran as historical documents, where much of the advice and lawgiving was relevant to people of that time.

I think you need to quote where it says that in the Koran, by the way!

Sasa needs to check her spelling before she judges other people (double negative) Anyway, there are many religions with enemies. Christians have been killing for over 2000 years! Think of the Crusades. That was supposed to be "justified". So it is not suprising that the Quran might say that (I am not totally sure because I am not of that religion.) I hope this helps.

I have seen the book spelling both ways with the K and the Q... I it depends which linguist you ask no religion attached in arabic-english translation with the title of the book.
As for the other, I would encourage the asker to read the book for themself. Where does it say that... quote "chapter and verse"... i have heard that myself, but i dont know it says that because i have not read it or is it a bunch of religious zealots claiming that. The Bible and Torah are full of wars themselves they even say there is a time of war and a time of peace (ecclesiastes). these are not my religious views.

The Koran encourages subduing other religions in a time of war only. In other times that are not during war time then the Koran teaches tolerance.

During World War II there was a song called "Praise the Lord and pass the Ammunition" (so we'll all be free). Do you suppose that came from the Bible?
At least it was more honest than you are about the Quran.

They support it for they think that the God who creates the Heaven and earth supports it. If God wanted to get rid of a nation, He would do it Himself. They know not God nor Christ, that is why. Christ comes to this earth teaching peace, love, and unity, that is what God desires. Go look in john 16:1-3, see what Christ has said concerning this matter. It is a prophecy and it is in effect now.

No. Quran never taught ppl to kill but the thinking or mentality of the MIYAAS(Its local word we use for them). is rusted. Quran never says this. These ppl like to threat and rule, they want to rule the world same as once British rule did. Difference was Muslims like to attack from BACK. But no, its not possible now ppl are intelligent. Forget it we are SMART.
