There is no insurmountable ambiguity as to who is a Jew and most Jewish names are recognizable, not to mention that Jews will readily identify themselves as such, including if only their mother is Jewish, except for Madeline Allbright, perhaps because she occupied the position of US Secretary of State. Whether American Media is owned by Jews or not, I don't know. It would be easy to research, I assume. What is easy to verify is how many Jews are on Editorial Boards of major media. Newspapers are really easy to check, it's usualy printed on them. Also note how many Jews report on the Middle East. If it was deliberate, I am not sure. I think probably. Jews of every citizenship work very hard to protect Israel. But also, Jews as a people are generally more represented in professional positions, they seek higher education, and they are interested in International affairs. As to whether it can be assumed that they will tend to bias the news presentations in favor of Israel or not, I believe that they could not but do so. While a minority of Jews do not support Israel, the majority of US Jews do. In fact, numerous polls show that among all issues before American voters, Jews always rank Israel first, before any other American internal matter. American Jews also are the only group of American-born citizens who can get an Israeli citizenship without surrendering the American one. Other Americans can only have dual citizenships if they were citizens of another country before they were American citizens. In essence, an American Jew born and raised in Brooklyn, can get an Israeli citizenship and continue living in Brooklyn, and serve Israel's interests from there. A person born to Arab parents in the US cannot after the age of 18 keep a dual citizenship and must surrender any other citizenship he could get through his parentage. American should therefore assume that there is an inevitable bias in the mainstream media here towards Israel, because 1) Jews are foremost dedicated to Israel, 2) Jews are disproportionately represented in the US media, 3) Jews are often dual citizens of the US and Israel..

Know this, just because we have "supposed" freedom of speech, until 9-11, that is, we had freedoms that other countries with dictatorship didn't have. We have lost those freedoms in the "supposed" search for terrorists.
But know this, we have always been the main pushers of propaganda. If you ever lived in another country and saw how the U.S. describes the other country's actions you would be amazed. So yes, Israel has bought into our media blitz because we are allies and we will always be allies because of the money Isreal can generate to the U.S.
Not all but most of the Isrealis are no less violent then the people we are fighting. They have the same dogged determination to have their way as do the Iraqis or the Iranians or the Lebanese. Maybe its the water or the barren landscape, but they are some scrapping peoples and they should all just get along.

that's assuming that all Jews agree with Israel-- and actually have a religious agenda.
The reason why people say that about the Jews is because Jews are in very high concentration in certain places like NY/NJ and California. Much of our media--say the entertainment industry- is not necessarily "run' by Jews exclusively, however it is greatly influenced by them because there is a large amount of them in the industry- or people who know them as friends and sympathize with them. I don't think the news organizations are totally run by Jews-- although they might be influenced for the same reason.
America's relationship with Israel is supported as much as--or more by- fundamentalist Christians who feel it fulfills a biblical prophesy.
I think it is very erroneous for you to assume the reason why America is the way it is has anything at all to do with Jews. I think you are looking for a scapegoat.
You should get to know some Jewish people,
You would be surprised to find not only are they very UNreligious, they are very down to earth, funny, friendly and how many shockingly have absolutely NO agenda-- sort of like the rest of us. and,
How many Jews are in our government?

Oh I see. The media makes a lot of money. And everyone knows gentiles can't handle money and jews can. Ergo jews MUST be controlling the media.
*LOL* I don't trust athiest with anything that has influence over the public because they don't tell you what they really believe. At least with those politicians and religious people you know where they stand.

yes it would be safe to assume that Jews could affect the thoughts of americans thru the media. and yes they have support for Israel. so don't believe everything u hear on the television.
u may want to view media that is not bias like BBC World. they give u the facts rather than the opinions.

I think it is inconsequential. Rupert Murdoch, who is a media mogul, is the son of a Jewish woman. He's a business man, though. Could we go so far as to think that white or black reporters skew the news they report that is pertinent to their culture? Not really. Admittedley Judaism is unique in that it is a race, culture and religion. But, it seems like a conspiracy theory to think that our media is skewed because of Jewish people in the business.
