COULD IT BE that for the last 40 years they have made governement responcible for the work place activitys .UNIONS were only needed because of un-safe practices by employeer's and that has ended.DUE largely in part to osha .A huge government agency to protect workers from unsafe working conditions. Now that we have the government running things we no longer need the unions.
UNIONS where about more then working conditions. They were about equality of life and wages that reflected the workers ability to produce goods and sevices that made a profit for the owners and investors balanced against the pay they would recieve.IF owners posted huge profits and investors got paid back workers wanted more pay that simple .they deserve the fruits of there labors and to have this stolen by greed tyrants who only sought to make money wher forced to cough up some profits and pay the workers a fair wage for the work that generates all the profit. Whith out workers no money that simple.pay them or else

I am 21 years old and going into my Senior year of college at Missouri Valley. I study accounting and economics and hold various leadership positions around campus and in the community. I have had an Internship at an Accounting Firm for the past two summers and I am at the Federal Reserve Bank St. Louis now. I have been involved with a young lady for about 5 months now and she has things going for herself too. She is 23 and she is a great woman. My Question to you all is "Should I wait until I get my career started before I settle down, because Im sure I will have alot of opportunities out there" Should I do the Bachelor thing for a while? I know you would say im smart enough figure it out yourself. I just need your thoughts

How Do I make my dad understand I want a career not just a job?
I am 24 years old. I have been doing seasonal work in Mallorca since I was 18. I was planning to go to Main Land Spain this Summer as I did not want to return to Mallorca. However my plans fell through. I have usually returned to a job in the winter after my stint in Mallorca. However this winter. I could not get my job back due to management changes and issues beyond my control so I signed on. As i was planning to go to Spain I worked a Part Time job in a cafe for 10 hours a week or so until the boss started to mess about and the hours and cr@p she dished out were not worth while.
When my plans of going to Spain did not work out I thought i would go spend the Summer in Skegness (I live in Bradford) with a friend. She was part way through moving house and things were going slow so I knocked that on the head.
Now I want a career not just a job. I want to get into Youth Work but it is a slow process how do I get my dad to understand. I don't feel I am wrong at wanting a good future.

Hi all. I have a dilemma and I'm hoping someone can shed light on my situation. Maybe even one or two who have gone or are going through the same thing(?)

For the past 2 1/2 years I've been having abnormal bleeding trouble. Usually week 3 I start bleeding and week 4 is normally my period. I bleed anywhere from 2 - 3 weeks out of a month. For the past 8 months I've been ttc. We haven't had a whole lotta luck in this dept. I've been told that anti-bodies were found present in my blood stream and I was asked if I had a transfusion or pregnancy recently. (the answer was no). I have some slight cramps. I've had a polypectomy and d&c recently and dr said they checked my tubes and they looked fine. She couldn't see a reason why I couldn't conceive. I'm starting to get worried. I know I did start ovulating normally because of the egg white stuff. One day after the egg white stuff stopped I started bleeding. What am I dealing with? Should I see a fertility specialist?
