depends if it's going to stay this hot or not. They're getting bigger and eventually they're going to take over the world! They are the devils creation, I can understand bee's, they have a use but wasps are just evil little bastards that keep stinging! I had to get a man out to get rid of a nest at work yesterday, they're vile. There's a load of bush's by where i live and you can guarentee every summer somone will disturb one of the many nests in there and all you hear is buzzzzzzzzz, and the sky turns black and everything is covered in wasps....no joke!

Well that is tough to say. I dont know where you heard that from, but it is always possible. Their numbers are usually related to temperature and weather conditions. If we were to have a mild winter followed by a spring that favored their prefered food, then their numbers would be high. Im sure we wouldn't be overrun by wasps, but there may be more annually if conditions continue to warm, as the trend has shown over the last decade or so....

Shssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I hate wasps (I'm allergic to the sting)

I haven't heard anything about an influx but I did hear that the sizes of insects are getting much bigger due to global warming!

These days you'll only see wasps where people aren't. As soon as a wasp nest is found in a built up area, it is destroyed.

I've had one lot try to nest in my garden but some PVA glue took care of them before they got too big to handle. Other than that I haven't seen any.
