I have a Jack Russell who will be 2 in Nov. He is my life, my baby, my sweetheart! If you can't tell, I'm a HUGE dog lover! Always had at least 2 growing up. So, now I work full time and go to school in the evenings 2 times a week. My bf (I live with) helps out a lot because of my busy schedule. However, I will be done with school this Dec. and home right after work every night. A freind of a friend, etc. has a girl Jack Russell who is fixed, trained and 3.5 yrs. old and needs a home. They can't keep her because she doesn't get along with cats. I don't either- I'm allergic.My bf isn't too happy w/the idea, but he said its up to me.Snoopy gets along GREAT w/everything he comes into contact with. I am debating it because:1) My hours, but they will change soon-I'll be done w/school soon. 2) $- I'm not rich and dogs are costly 3) If I go on vacation, my mom has 1 too, so I bring Snoopy there.She said she wouldn't mind both, but her mind can change. 4)Will Snoop like a newcomer? What to do?

we talk of globalisation and generalisation in everything we also talk about engineering starndards used all around the world that is why they come to say metric,iso etc also standard systems like mks ,fps ,cgs,s.i. emerged. but even now in countries like u.s people use lbs (pounds) etc to measure and calculate and uk,india etc use s.i. why is this difference occuring?also even i heard that there are two metre scales called british and american in which american is 3cm smaller than the former? why is these all being followed ?why is there no globalisation in this?

I'm 19, I rent my own apt and im not in any debt at all, but i'm having the hardest time trying to get a credit card. the only reason i want one is to be able to pay for school. i've tried applying for store credit cards and everything but it wont work because i "don't have established credit". How am I supposed to get credit when I dont have credit? All I'm trying to get is a $500 card to pay off 1 or 2 classes and keep for emergencies. Help!!

I'm not good at painting. The last time I did it I didn't do the ceiling and when I put tape on the ceiling to avoid getting the wall paint on it, the tape fell off and I ended up getting paint all over it. Any suggestions?

alright.. this is odd but oh well.. you have to choose between..
