Problem 1.
2=3 not possible.Thus no solution

Problem 2.
by substitution
x = 5/3 and y = - 10/3

Problem one cannot be solved that cannot be a system, as x+y cannot be equal to both 2 and 3 that is impossible

second one sub eqn 1 into 2 x-5+2x=0
3x=5
x=5/3=1.667
y=5/3-5
y=-10/3=-3.333

y + x = 2
y + x = 3

y + x = -x + 2
y = -x + 3

No Solution

---------------------------------

x - 5 = y
y + 2x = 0

(x - 5) + 2x = 0
x - 5 + 2x = 0
3x - 5 = 0
3x = 5
x = (5/3)

(5/3) - 5 = y
(5/3) - (15/3) = y
(-10/3) = y

x = (5/3)
y = (-10/3)
