Atheists do not waste my time.

Christians, okay so the thoughts in my head go something like this:

"Wow I am feeling a huge swelling of pride"
"This particular type of pride is wrong"
"God please help not feel this pride"

...and then INSTANTLY I think "do this, or dont do that" as if my doing or not doing something is what i should do and ...like doing that or not doing that would be what God wanted and he might help me.

Okay I know that sounds insane and im gonna get all kinds if mean answers.

Is that the still small voice do you think? and do you think God makes deals or tells us what to do in that way?

What im looking for in an answer is no radical views. no long answers that i wont read. and scriptural evidence to back up whatever it is youre saying.

Time is so precious, and there seems to be so much to do, and yet I feel so lazy much of the time and selfish with my time when I could be doing better. Where is the balance? I need a time budget and energy to do all that needs done and extra time to just enjoy what God has given me. I want to make everyone happy, please God and feel proud of myself. Seems simple but just writing this I feel some stress and then I usually end up just eating and getting fat and feeling loosy about my life again.

When NASA first started the Space Shuttle Program, everyone was excited and in awe of this complex engineering feat - just like the days of the Apollo Space Program. But now, the only converage you see on TV of a Space Shuttle flight is during the launch for a few minutes and 30 or so seconds of the landing. Why is more media coverage given to insignificant events (a cat that was pulled from a tree) than events that affect our Nation in a profound way. Is media coverage responsible for this or is it because the media knows the public is not interested in Space and hence, decides to give it very little coverage?
