Now here's a twisted way to look at it, getting closer to death. So you associate "death" with an age? An older age - not so. I have lost many friends and family members well under the age of 30, under the age of 20 and even under the age of 10.
Try looking at a "Birthday" as a celebration of life and enjoy living it.

getting older should never be asssociated with death.. you could die even at an early age. We celebrate birthdays coz we want to honor the very first day we came here to this earth and its sort of a thanksgiving that we are still alive and breathing!

well you can know this for sure, I will turn 40 in August. I plan to party my *** off. I will be out in Las Vegas for 11 days my birthday falls right in the middle of my vacation. I plan on a good time.

WELL I RARELY CELEBRATES MY B'DAY, I ALWAYS FEEL THAT LIFE IS REALLY SHORT AND BIRTHDAY IS JUST THE REMINDER OF THE VALUABLE TIME LEFT WITH U TO EXPLORE THIS WORLD.
WELL I DONT MEAN THAT ONE SHOULD NOT ENJOY LIFE BUT I MEAN THAT ONE SHOULD KEEP TRACK OF WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TILL THE MOMENT.
DONT ENJOY A SINGLE DAY INSTEAD ENJOY EACH DAY WITH A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE.
