Yes. Mai Tai restaurant which used to be in Metarie, Louisiana. They were closed at least twice for having animal cadavers (cats ) in their meat cooler during unannounced inspections.
My wife and I in 1985 used to eat there and our favorite was the Mandarin Chicken, deep fried boneless "chicken" served on a bed of warm lettuce with a brown gravy.
The meat was definitely not chicken, pork, or beef, was very flavorful and tender.
To this day I can honestly say that the best pussy I've ever eaten was in a Chinese restaurant outside of New Orleans.

No...think about it. Where would they get them? Do you hear of 10's or hundreds or thousands over time of missing pet cats or dogs in an area where there is an asian restaurant? And if they were buying it then wouldn't that be more expensive than say chicken. There doesn't appear to be much meat on a cat. It just doesn't seem financially prudent. No...this definitly doesn't really happen. A myth that plays on basic fears of all humans.

Some Asian countrys eat dog meat as a delicacy. The is well documented in Korea and Vietnam. They also eat monkey brains. Their are restaurants that serve such things but you will not see it on the menu. It is only for their own people.
