I packed everything......and will un-pack everything....shouldn't I expect him to do the heavy labor?

First, I don't believe in God or any religion. I'm very often amazed on how people can believe in religion and sometimes have questions about your "mentality" regarding this belief.

You people say that God is responsable for the pretty trees, the cute little bunnies, the oceans full of fish and our own existence.

But what about negative things like tornadoes, wars, George Bush, forest fires, earthquakes, etc? Am I right to assume you say negative events are from the uncontrollable nature, but positive things are from God?

I remember in Fast Times at Ridgemont High she looked hot in that swimming pool scene where Brad Hamilton (Judge Reinhold) was having a fantasy and jerking off to her taking her bikini top off next to the pool--and then his sister walked in on him in the bathroom--that was so funny! I saw Phoebe in only a few other movies after that, including a Blue Lagoon ripoff called Paradise, I think. And is it true she was a porn star before she became a legitimate Hollywood actress? I'm 17, and my gf is 16, we've been together a year now. She's having some problems at home just now and at school as well, her grades have dropped and she's been pulled up by her teachers. She seems really depressed and I can't cheer her up but when I ask if she's alright she says she is, she won't tell me what's wrong.

I saw some scratches on her arm a few weeks ago and asked about them, she said her cat scratched her but I don't believe her, they didn't look like cat scratches. But last night we were fooling around and I took off her trousers and there were cuts on her legs. I asked how she got them and she got dead pissed off, said it was nothing and put her trousers back on and wouldn't talk anymore about it.

What should I do? She won't talk to me about it and I'm worried about her, the cuts looked pretty bad. Her parents have enough problems of their own right now, I don't want to tell them.

I started smoking when I was 14, and I was like maybe 5'6 then. I am now 17 and I am 5'9. I have recently quit smoking and started eating healthy and exercising regularly. Is it realistic to think that I will reach 6', or taller. When I was a baby the doctors said because of my abnormally large head I was probally going to be pretty tall. My dad is around 6'2 and my mom is around 5'2. Ohh and Im a guy, I guess that would help.

One of the ingredients of soda is carbon dioxide. As we know, carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Does that mean that by opening up a can of soda, you are contributing to global warming? Obviously these are relatively small amounts, but if you drink a can of soda (or seltzer) everyday can it impact the environment?

For the sake of the question, disregard the fossil fuels it takes to ship the sodas and the metals it takes to make the soda can; I'm interested in the impact of the carbon dioxide itself.

You are privileged to even be alive, and to live on Earth, and to live in the glorious USA where nearly everyone has everything they need to live and be happy.

Things could be more worse. Why ask for more than what you have? Be happy you're organized into a body with cells all working together to get stuff done, be happy that you can feed these cells everyday with Earth's abundant resources, be happy that the Earth is also organized into a solid form that is hospitable to life! Be happy for the one star that shines on you all day and keeps you warm! And be happy that you live in a place where other things aren't chasing you around and trying to kill you for their own benefit. Society treats you well, even if you don't believe so. The services that fellow people supply you with make it so easy to live, you take it for granted.

So why ask for more than what we already have? Why ask not to be crippled? Why ask to be a better person? Why pray for an afterlife? Why wish for fortune?

... I'm not normally this spotty but I think the weather has made me breakout really bad, is there anything more I can be doing apart from drinking lots of water, using tea tree and I have tried toothpaste in the past but that never seems to work! I need a quick fix method!
