In the Old Testament: The Fourth Commandment itself acknowledges that people may own "manservants" and "maidservants." (Exodus 20:10.) Other laws state: "The slave is [the master's] property." (Exodus 21:20,21.) "If you buy a Hebrew servant..." (Exodus 21:2.)

In the New Testament: Paul commanded: "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear." (Ephesians 6:5, a command repeated in 1 Timothy 6:1, Colossians 3:22, Titus 2:9, and 1 Peter 2:18,21.) Remember that Paul lived under the Roman Empire, whose slave system was one of the most terrible in history.

In the Gospels: Even Jesus used the master/slave analogy to describe God’s relationship to his followers. He went so far as to compare God to a master rightfully beating and torturing his disobedient slaves. (Matthew 18:23-35, Matthew 24:50-51, Luke 12:47). This is not the language of someone who opposes slavery as a great evil.

she loves him as well but she also loves her husband and he says that he loves me and would never leave and that they decided not to have anything to do with each other than to just be friends. He told me that he doesnt want to leave me and that he isnt. He says he couldnt live without me. Im scared and confused. I dont know how to feel. I dont want to leave him, I still love him and I want to work things out but I just dont know how I should feel. All I know is Im hurt. Im not angry. I dont know how to handle all the information. Its like Im having an out of body experience. Like I am watching all of this happen from outside of me. It hurts so much sometimes I cant breathe. I forgave him. I'm scared and feel alone... I'm currently staying at my niece's house, it's really fun. I have two weeks earlier vacation than she has, that's why I'm here. But she's going to school, her parents go to work and I'm just bored here... I only can use the computer and they removed the dvd-player... Not exactly a 5 star service, huh? So what do you think? Will I start a new season of ''Prison Break''?

But the worse of all, my niece is just ignoring me. She now brings some friends home, she's just singing and singing and playing piano with her friends. I can't stand it anymore!!! But I can't leave of course, it would be weird.

What do you think? This is the first time though, if it had happened before I wouldn't go here anymore!

in summer when turning AC on lights go off. Someone told me that I have low voltage wiring, but I had an electrician come over this friday and he said that my voltage wiring is pretty good. So I don't know what the real problem is. He said that I needed to check on the AC, that it might be somenthing wrong with it. I don't know, what's also funny that when lights go off, that MAIN cuircuit braker goes off instead of the actual cuircuit braker where the AC in conected too.
Can someone help me or refer me to someone that is really good to check if posible both Electrical and Force Air person? You know sometimes there are people that can do both things? I am in Chicago, IL.

We have a lot of problems like Global Warming, Ice Ages, Floods, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Volcanoes and etc. Do you think that Global Warming will be "Global Cooling" when we take care of Earth like not throwing trash on the ground, playing with fire etc. Amd cam we stop Floods from happening by building more dams, and stop Earthquakes from damaging building by buildings that can stand the magnitude of Earthquakes? One more question should we build more dome looking homes so homes won't get destroyed by Hurricanes? (These questions came from a 5 year old that is worried about disasters)

First, know that I don't hate gay people. What they do is their business, and it should stay behind doors. I don't proclaim what my wife and I do in our bedroom, and I don't care about what they do, either.
What I do care about is whats on TV nowadays, and our schools. It's fine to say don't hate ANY people, but not to teach my child that it's okay, or encourage it.
Apperently, in one elementary school, a book was read called king and king, about two princes falling in love. What?!!?
