don`t force them together.
don`t keep pushing one cat toward the other--that`s called
'invasion of space" and cats are very protective of their personal space.
give them time--keep an eye on the kitten to keep it out of trouble.
they may become friends, or they may not.
older male cats don`t always appreciate a kitten who wants to play, play, play, when all they want to do is nap, nap, nap.
they may learn to just tolerate each other, and sometimes that`s good enough.
just like humans--cats don`t like all other cats.

Everyone must ignore baby kitty (although it's hard to do), and lavish the older kitty with all his favorite things (attention, toys, food, etc.) The older kitty must not feel as if he's losing attention - much like when a younger sibling arrives. I've had my "new" cat for 8 years, and the 2 get along, but the "old" cat still gets his food served first at every meal.

First, how effective of you to take interior the 2nd cat. Male cats tend to be aggressive in direction of different men, surprisingly whilst unneutered; considering the fact that that's no longer your case, right that's what I propose: keep the two men separate for a pair of days with separate foodstuff dishes and clutter containers interior the homestead. enable each and each cat have a sock or towel that the different cat has performed with so each and each gets conscious of the different's fragrance. as quickly as presented, enable them to hiss and spat at one yet another. they're going to determine issues out for themselves. Cats are social creatures and as quickly as they adjust, ought to get alongside. provide the 1st cat some particular treatement till now each and every thing, enable him understand he remains "selection one." basically be certain to continually have 2 foodstuff dishes and water dishes, ideally no longer next to the different cat's dishes. A 2nd litterbox is often needed. I had 2 spayed women as a baby who have been littermates; 5 years after the only died, we resuced a male kitten. interior of weeks they have been buddies, inspite of the reality that they did spat each and every so often. reliable luck! Kudos to you for taking interior the 2nd puppy. In time, the reward on your perseverance and hartd artwork would be large. playstation : there's a link below to a pair Purina Q&A approximately men being presented that should help.

give it a few days.. as long as the male cat is not aggresive towards the kitty. try making them both spend time together under ur constant supervision in case they fight. and most importantly, keep assuring the older cat that u love him more cos all cats are jealous boned.
