Yeah, you heard me...even if they only serve ONE TERM, they continue to receive full pay, insurance, etc. until they die.

Adding to that tidy sum... when they leave their jobs on the Hill, they typically take six figure jobs in the private sector, join the professional lecture circuit and sit on boards of corporations
-for A LOT more money.
ANd we're not just t
Even at $162,000 per year (their average salary) - a senator in their 50's living 30 more years will rake in more than $4,860,000- and that's just salary-no the cost to us for their benefits.

These people have won the fricking LOTTERY.

When OUR jobs are not secure in America and when our economy is in the toilet- do you think WE THE PEOPLE should cancel the "free ride for life" for our elected officials and put those MULTI MILLIONS of dollars back into programs we need for our children, our elderly and our own health care?

In my humble opinion-two years of severance is ENOU

Please help to identify, I posted this question before But I still do not know what it is.
It has leaves like a cosmo,
it is about 6-8 inches tall
It has 3 round golfball blooms, no petals (at least not yet) the front of the golf ball bloom tapers off into a star, with very soft spikes all over the bloom.
The entire plant is apple green in color.
It is not a bladder campanion but it looks alot like it except for the feathery spikes.
I once gathered wild seeds from the forest here in Colorado, but that was several years ago.
What could it be? It is driving me crazy!!!

ps. sorry for my comments on my last ?..I am having trouble with y&a what I type and what is posted is differernt..words are missing.....weird!

once upon a time there was a a loving family that were faced with trying times. they were very poor and lived next to a very rich family. the poor man was working one day when he fell into a hole and cut his leg, his foot was stuck under ground and there was no one to help him, so his wound festered and rotted and he had his leg cut off. the family needed money to plant the grain for the next harvest , jobs were few, but his neighbor had money all the father had to do was ask for a loan. but he had pride and was ashamed that he would have to beg.
his wife beeged him to let her go, she had seen the rich man gazing at her with longing eyes
but his son intervened, no father if I go i will sweep the daughter off her feet with my humble charm and inherit all their wealth
and his daughter said no father i will go I can easily be employed you know i'm good for hard work
now the father made his choise. and he gave them his reason who was it?

I let my brother use my washer and when he moved he asked our other brother to pick it up. when he went to pick it up the landlord told him that he took the washer and put it into storage. I called and talked to the secretary and she told me that because my brother that rented the appartment still owes a balance of 925.00 that they won't give me back my washer. I was not the tenant in the complex and only let my brother borrow my washer. I can proove ownership of the washer. Can the landlord keep my washer even if my brother is the one who owes the money? Please I need help with this.

The people that live below me have just moved in about a week ago. They are always on their balcony talking real loud late at night, past 11 and if they are inside they are either listening to thie radio very loud, or watching movies very loud. I don't mind some noise but it gets to be too much when I have an 8 month old who has woken up because of it and I have to turn my own television up to hear. I have spoken to my property manager on many occasions, some had to do with one set of neighbors in the past. They would be on their balcony partying at 4am. Finally, they have quieted down. I have called the cops but the neighbors just lie to them. It is unfortunate because other than the noise problems, this is a really nice place and I would rather not move. What is considered excessive noise in Massachusetts and what can I do when the property manager does not cooperate?
