Ai - Love
Ai suru - To love
Ai sareru - To be loved
Anata oh ai shiteru - I am in Love with you
Anata ga suki desu - I like (love) you
(Suki is more towards like than love. Basically if you use Suki, then it's "love". But when you use Ai it's more like "LOOOOOOVE!!!")

The "r"s should be pronounced as you would in Spanish.
Not like in english.

ai shiteru

if you are speaking to someone close, like lover without any formality involved, very directive.

most likely it's better you say

daisuki

means "big like", typically Japanese people use this over ai shiteru. Also case by case same meaning as ai shiteru, but not too directive. I recommend use this over other because the way Japanese speak there is more passive than being directive.

ai = love

ai suru = to love

if you are confessing love/feelings for someone you would likely say = anata ga suki desu.

and to be in love with someone = ai shite iru / ai shite imasu

granted there are lots of conjugations for ai suru and ai shite imasu depending on what you are actually saying.. so maybe you should be more specific

and people on here need to learn how to spell romanized japanese.. because it makes a BIG difference in how a word would be pronounced lol
