He has been diagnosed with acute kidney failure. He has cut back to 7 oz. of protein a day. He eats apples and carrots for snacks. He is limited on carbohydrates, of course. He is losing weight in an effort to keep his kidneys as healthy as possible. Glucerna has both protein and sodium. Is their something else?

Hurricane Katrina ,fires mud slides and now massive flooding have occured while the military is stretched thinly over the middle east. Russia'a parliment is saying that the US is looseing control in Iraq the list goes on and on .I just wonder if there will be a USA in 20-30 years or if it's going the way of the old Roman Empire?
I am just looking at the deficet of trillions a falling dollar and thinking how long can they last like that? Am I wrong - it has been years since I have actually been in the US - so I am an outsider looking in.
