Having asked philosophical and society-related questions lately, I've decided to ask a lighter-hearted question. Hopefully there'll be no accusations of being terrible in this one, no?
I am a member and potential frontman of a band in the Bay Area. I've challenged my fellow bandmates to practice over the next two months and get so good that we are able to land a gig at a local venue or festival... whatever gets us out of our high school.
While some venues charge money, some don't. Some also ask for demos. In any case, how does one actually go about booking a gig?

How do you know if you have an inferiority complex? I am often pissed, when ever I start some thing new and I see some one doing better no matter if they just started or they been doing it for year I instantly lose interest and hate my self for not being able to do the same. I have homicidal and suicidal tendencies and for some reason when I took out my clip from my .22 and pulled the bolt back and pulled the trigger like 10 times I felt better for a few days. Some times, I can sit in my care and I see every person as against me. If I go to the person and there is a lot of people I lose interest cause all the other people are bigger and stronger and I can’t be as big and strong as them. Of course that dosent make me want to kill them I just give up. I want to kill them when I see then doing mean stuff to others or doing dumb immature things in general.

I broke into my girlfriends voicemail, and was right about some cheating, she even denied it until I proved otherwise, then she apologized, but now she is mad and doesnt trust me either, is there anything left or should it be over? I'm Palestinian.
Israeli army bombed our village 2 days a go by guided missile. I was in Beirut at that time. many peoples died and injury including my mother and my 8 years old sister. She is dying now at hospital.
I don't know what should i do with this anger and sadness,
I just wanna her back.
To all of you, Muslims, Christians, Jewish or any peoples who believe in God, will you please do me a favor to pray for her healthy?

Ok so I'm 24, 5'6", and weigh 190lbs. I've been up and down with my weight since pubity but I really want to lose the weight and fast. At the end of last summer I weighed 180lbs. but I was also walking everywhere instead of driving but I've become one of those lazy people. I also recently got laid off from work and I pretty much do nothing at home. My question is does anyone know a really good exercise and diet routine to help end this lazy way???
